What made you want to get involved with the Endowment?

Got involved with the endowment because of the opportunity to have our son's memorial scholarship fund watched over administratively, and to be perpetual. After this found the benefit of a community based endowment to provide for all in the community and the opportunity for the entire community to participate.

What is the most rewarding part of being on the board?

Awarding grants, and sharing the message to others of the benefits.

What is one thing you wish people knew about the Endowment?

The opportunities the endowment can offer Plainview and the Hale County-Floyd County area. Watching younger generation take leadership and the new ideas for success.

I have desire to develop a systematic program to allow regular donations by members of the community to create a growth of the fund each payment ie monthly, annually, or lump sum.
